INTRODUCTION
The Power Income Statement Manager plays a critical role within the Vernova Power Segment FP&A organization, supporting segment-wide planning, reporting, and performance management. This leader is responsible not only for executing core FP&A cycles, but also for strengthening process discipline, improving reporting consistency across businesses, and enabling scalable operating rhythms. This role reports into Power Income Statement Manager – Consolidation & Reporting.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Power segment FP&A activities: This role supports the end-to-end planning and reporting cadence for the Power segment, ensuring operational rigor and financial consistency. You will synthesize complex data into actionable insights, providing leadership with the transparency needed for high-quality decision-making.
- FP&A Operations & Excellence: Oversee the Power FP&A calendar, reporting, and communication. Ensure the integrity of planning and closing cycles, proactively mitigating risks and aligning financial outcomes with business objectives. Lead operational simplification and automation efforts in partnership with DT.
- Standard Work & Process Transformation: Architect and deploy global FP&A standard work, including standardized database structures, Workiva reporting, and supplemental templates. Drive the lean finance roadmap by identifying inefficiencies and implementing high-impact, automated solutions.
- Digital Infrastructure Governance: Provide strategic oversight for the Power digital ecosystem (Database, Workiva, Power BI, BAM/CALM). Ensure data integrity and synchronization for HQ and Power ITRs, while managing the “Yellow Page” directory to maintain global governance and cross-functional connectivity.
- Change Management Leadership: Serve as the primary catalyst for digital and process transformation. Secure stakeholder buy-in across global finance teams, manage the full deployment lifecycle of new tools, and maximize user adoption through strategic change management.
- AI Adoption Strategy: Accelerate the integration of AI-enabled capabilities to enhance financial productivity, predictive insight, and decision quality. Identify and scale high-value use cases within a controlled, responsible framework.
- Controllership & Compliance: Maintain rigorous standards of controllership. Ensure full compliance with GE Vernova policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls while fostering a culture of best-practice sharing.
- Leadership, Mentoring & Problem Solving: Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams. Cultivate a culture of critical thinking and creative problem-solving, leveraging complex data to inform decision-making and navigate organizational challenges.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 7 years of finance experience of increasing responsibility
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leading people preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to partner/push an operating team
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

Relocation Assistance Provided: No
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $107,600.00 and $179,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
