ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2021 and we currently have two team members, with a strong foundation in place as we continue to grow. Before becoming an agent, I spent over 15 years in the telecommunications industry working in sales, business development, and sales management. That experience shaped how I lead today — with clear goals, strong customer focus, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
I have a bachelor’s degree in business management, and outside the office I’m a proud husband and dad to an 11-year-old son. We stay busy with sports and love being outdoors, snow skiing in the winter, boating in the summer, and enjoying everything our area has to offer. I’m also very involved in my son’s sports and spend a lot of time volunteering and helping where I can.
For our team, we offer three weeks of PTO, a paid 10-year term life policy, work-life balance, and we cover all licensing costs. Our culture is friendly, customer-first, and grounded in a simple belief: we always do what’s best for the customer.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in doing quality work, and wants to be part of an agency where integrity and service come first. If you’re looking for a supportive office where you can grow and feel good about the work you do, we’d love to meet you.

Which insurance companies in Idaho sponsor H-1B visas?
Regence BlueShield of Idaho, Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance, and regional branches of national carriers such as Employers Holdings and Pacific Premier have filed H-1B Labor Condition Applications in Idaho. Larger insurers with actuarial, data analytics, or technology functions are the most consistent sponsors, as these roles align most clearly with the specialty occupation standard H-1B petitions require.
Which cities in Idaho have the most insurance H-1B sponsorship jobs?
Boise accounts for the largest share of insurance H-1B activity in Idaho, with the Treasure Valley corridor extending into Meridian and Nampa also hosting regional offices. Idaho Falls and Pocatello have smaller but active insurance markets. Boise's growth as a financial services hub has increased demand for credentialed professionals in actuarial science, compliance, and health insurance operations.
What types of insurance roles typically qualify for H-1B sponsorship?
Roles that consistently meet the specialty occupation standard include actuaries, underwriting analysts, claims data analysts, risk management specialists, and insurance software engineers. These positions require at minimum a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as actuarial science, statistics, finance, or computer science. General sales agent or adjuster roles with no specific degree requirement are unlikely to qualify.
How do I find insurance H-1B sponsorship jobs in Idaho?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search, letting you filter by visa type and industry to surface insurance roles in Idaho where employers have demonstrated H-1B sponsorship. Because sponsorship history and willingness varies by employer, using a platform focused on visa sponsorship saves significant time compared to broad job searching. Migrate Mate's Idaho insurance listings are updated as new positions are posted.
Are there any Idaho-specific considerations for H-1B sponsorship in insurance?
Idaho does not impose state-level restrictions on H-1B employment, but the insurance industry here is more concentrated in a small number of mid-sized employers than in larger states. This means fewer companies actively filing H-1B petitions. Candidates should prioritize employers with prior LCA filings on record, as a company that has sponsored before is far more likely to have an established process for doing so again.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B insurance jobs in Idaho?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
