Job Description
Must be able to sort scrap tires determining which tires that can be repaired and which ones are scrap.
Will be responsible for Scrap 3 weight reporting to supervisor.
Perform other duties as directed by Tire Building Supervisor, Lead Supervisor or Department Manager.
Rework green tires and components meeting all quality requirements.
Must be able to receive written and oral instructions as to specs, procedures, tolerances, and various construction and quality requirements.
Will follow standard practices and perform all work necessary to obtain quality and quantity production, follow plant Safety policies, Plant policies, Environmental policies, and keep work areas neat, clean, and orderly.
Medium to heavy work. Must be able to frequently stoop, twist, bend, and walk long distances. Full range of motion in arms, hands and legs, and lift 50 or more pounds on an occasional to frequent basis. Occasionally push, pull medium to heavy green tire buggy. Ability to wear respirator.

High School Diploma or GED
0-2 years of manufacturing experience needed
No relocation assistance is offered for this position
ENVIRONMENT
Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings, overnights, and weekends.
The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.
The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

HOURLY PAY
The hourly rate for this position is $21.37 per hour. This position is also eligible for a quarterly incentive program.
This role will be eligible for shift differential which is added onto your hourly rate. The additional shift differential is $0.20 per hour for overnight shifts, $0.15 per hour for evening shifts, and $1.00 per hour for weekend shifts.
Pay rate is based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
