We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven professional to join our Team. The successful candidate will assist the Commercial Strategic Accounts Sales organization by providing pre-sale and post-sale support to our top-tier customers. This role may sit in Syracuse, NY, Indianapolis, IN, or Charlotte, NC.
General Responsibilities
- Review and assist with plans and specifications to develop HVAC systems solutions.
- Effectively and professionally communicate requirements with customers and internal teams.
- Adapt to customer specific requirements.
- Provide HVAC equipment selections, both new and replacements.
- Provide technical support for the sales of commercial air conditioning systems to customers and their respective consulting engineers.
- Seek new business opportunities by responding to RFI’s, RFP’s, RFQ's for new and/or existing customers.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple functions, to maintain composure in fast-paced situations, and to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Support Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators with new and existing accounts and the introduction of new products.
- Must have a developed understanding of HVAC systems, equipment and controls.
- Must be a self-starter, with strong business understanding, strong self-direction, and excellent interpersonal/influencing skills to work across the Carrier organization and with customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of HVAC experience.
- Ability to travel up to 5% domestically.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
- 5+ years of HVAC experience including residential, light-commercial and commercial Applied Equipment.
- Sense of urgency, self-initiative, dedication, and sense of ownership.
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills with the ability to get along with both external customers and a multi-functional team of sales, engineering, manufacturing & marketing associates.
- Outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to prioritize multiple priorities.
- Unwavering customer service orientation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
