Which visa types are most common for hospitality roles in Indiana?
H-1B visas are common for management and specialized positions at major hotel chains and resorts. H-2B visas may apply for seasonal roles at tourism destinations. J-1 cultural exchange programs are popular for internships and training positions. O-1 visas occasionally apply for exceptional culinary professionals or entertainment specialists at high-end venues.

Fort Wayne and Evansville offer regional opportunities. French Lick in southern Indiana provides resort-based positions. What is the prevailing wage for sponsored hospitality jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
