INTRODUCTION
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA/LPN for its Express Care clinic in Ames (Lincoln Center) office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
- Rooming patients
- Taking vitals and patient history
- Performing point of care testing
- Immunization and other injections
- Assisting in a fast paced clinical setting
Education
- Graduate of accredited program for Medical Assistants
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), ANHP, NCCT, NHA.
- Possession of current State Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
DAYS
Monday - Friday, including rotating weekends
HOURS
PT - 28 hours a week.
PPT - 10 hours a week
Experience
- Clinic or hospital experience preferred.
COMPENSATION
$2.50 per hour pay differential if you work Saturday and/or Sunday. If a holiday falls on a Saturday or a Sunday, please ask for details.
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
