Position Overview:
The successful candidate will work with Operations, the Controller, the CFO, and Human Resources to deliver timely weekly payroll, processes payroll deductions, other pay types, prevailing wage, and taxes. This position will include being able to various other assigned accounting and bookkeeping projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or business preferred.
- Proficient in payroll processing.
- Strong communication, technical writing, training, analytical, time management and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Certified Payroll/Prevailing wage experience and reporting.
- Experience in various bookkeeping functions, AP, and AR.
- Union experience highly desired.
Required skills:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.
- Ability to manage multiple on-going tasks to meet deadlines
