SUMMARY
CHS has exciting summer internship opportunities on our Finance teams. These positions are intended to provide experience within financial planning & analysis (FP&A) and other finance business support functions (including but not limited to Treasury, Credit, and CHS Capital). These internships will provide work experience and mentoring from CHS professionals to prepare for a career in finance, while being part of a broader early career networking and development cohort. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, prioritization and research skills. The candidate must be driven, adaptable, detail-oriented, with natural curiosity and a desire to learn.
The intern will support a corporate or business unit finance team.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively across teams
- Gain exposure to CHS leadership
- Present key findings from your work to other early career associates and leaders in a capstone presentation
- Provide support for monthly reporting and analysis, quarterly forecast, and annual budget process
- Prepare monthly reports for business unit or corporate management
- Provide exceptional customer service by researching, resolving, and/or escalating inquiries
- Perform ad hoc analysis and be involved in projects as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (required)
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, supply chain management, Ag Business, mathematics, business management, data analytics or similar major.
- Knowledge and experience in performing basic financial analysis

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
