ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Software Product Manager is responsible for owning the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of Laborie’s Synergy® software platform supporting urology diagnostic technologies. This role drives clinical and commercial success by translating customer, clinical, and market insights into differentiated software capabilities that enhance workflow efficiency, diagnostic accuracy, and user experience. Partnering cross‑functionally with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, and Operations, the Senior Product Manager defines product requirements, prioritizes development, supports global launches, and ensures alignment with Laborie’s broader urology diagnostics portfolio and digital strategy. Success is measured by customer adoption, market competitiveness, and delivered value to clinicians and patients.
About the Role:
- Define and drive the global product software strategy, software roadmap, and innovation pipeline for the Urology software portfolio, for the entire global suite of Urodynamic systems.
- Identify and evaluate market opportunities, trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to shape strategic direction and prioritization.
- Lead cross-functional portfolio planning efforts, collaborating with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to translate strategic insights into actionable development programs.
- Partner with regional marketing teams to ensure global alignment on go-to-market strategies, value propositions, and positioning for existing and future solutions, and support the development of business cases and financial models for new product concepts and portfolio investments.
- Co-lead Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives to uncover latent needs and validate innovative concepts through direct engagement with physicians, administrators and KOLs.
- Drive the early stage-stage innovation process, facilitating idea generation, opportunity assessments, and concept development across the Urology ecosystem.
- Create and manage long-range strategic planning documents, executive-level presentations, and portfolio performance dashboards to support leadership decision making.
- Monitor competitive intelligence and market shifts to adjust strategic direction and recommend course corrections as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Lifesciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in marketing, product management, or strategy roles within the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and drive long-term strategic plans, with a track record of shaping innovation pipelines and portfolio roadmaps.
- Innovation Management: Experience in front-end innovation, concept development, or early-stage product development within the medtech or healthcare space.
- Business Acumen: Ability to develop business cases and evaluate commercial viability of new opportunities.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and understand market trends.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to influence others and work on cross-functional teams.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate marketing plans and strategy.
