Overview:
The Sr. Pricing Analyst at Konica Minolta will develop pricing proposals for a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 1000 companies, global and commercial enterprises, colleges, hospitals, and government agencies. This role involves collaborating with multiple sales channels to provide detailed pricing analysis and support. The analyst will identify, recommend, and implement strategic pricing solutions based on market conditions and competitive environments, while determining account-specific pricing strategies that align with customer needs and business objectives.
The position is based in Ramsey, NJ, and follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office work Monday through Thursday and the option to work remotely on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive Review and analysis of all incoming price requests.
- Provide centralized pricing support to the organization with ongoing pricing analytics that delivers timely and accurate information in order to support overall market, product and objectives.
- Maintain open and constant high-level interaction with field sales, upper management, leasing partners, and various internal departments to obtain the information necessary to develop strategic pricing proposals that align with company guidelines/policies to maximize profitability and maintain margins.
- Creation of pricing proposals and other required documentation to support the needs of the requesting market.
- Provide pricing guidance and support to sales teams to develop pricing strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
- Suggest strategies to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.
- Provide support during negotiations and deal structuring as needed.
- Assist in preparation of financial presentations and analysis for senior management and field sales personnel.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and properly presented for integrity.
- Calculates proposed ROI/Profitability Analysis for opportunities (including RFPS).
- Prepare and present final financial pricing analysis for required approvals.
- Maintain established contracts by processing renewals, model adds/deletions.
- Ad hoc pricing related activities and documentation as needed to support business needs.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Pricing Analysts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, economics, accounting or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in pricing, bid development, finance, sales or marketing roles.
- Advanced Excel knowledge required.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Office Equipment Industry or Business-to-Business Bid process.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Effective judgement and decision-making abilities.
