Which marketing & advertising companies sponsor visas in North Carolina?
Major sponsors include Bank of America and Wells Fargo for financial marketing roles in Charlotte, Red Hat and Cisco for tech marketing positions in the Research Triangle, and Hanesbrands and VF Corporation for consumer marketing in Greensboro. Digital agencies like The Variable and McKinney also sponsor visas for specialized roles requiring specific expertise in programmatic advertising or data analytics.
Which cities in North Carolina have the most marketing & advertising sponsorship jobs?
Charlotte leads with financial services marketing roles, followed by Raleigh-Durham for tech and software marketing positions. Greensboro offers opportunities in consumer goods marketing, while Winston-Salem has tobacco and healthcare marketing roles. The Research Triangle Park specifically concentrates pharmaceutical and biotech marketing positions that frequently require visa sponsorship for specialized talent.
How to find marketing & advertising visa sponsorship jobs in North Carolina?
Use Migrate Mate to filter marketing and advertising positions specifically in North Carolina that offer visa sponsorship. Focus on digital marketing, marketing analytics, and performance marketing roles which are most commonly sponsored. Target major employers in Charlotte's banking district, Raleigh-Durham's tech corridor, and established agencies that have demonstrated sponsorship history for international marketing professionals.
Which visa types are most common for marketing & advertising roles in North Carolina?
H-1B visas dominate for data-driven marketing roles, marketing analytics, and performance marketing positions requiring specialized skills. O-1 visas apply to senior creative directors or marketing executives with extraordinary achievements. E-3 visas serve Australian marketing professionals, while TN visas cover Canadian and Mexican citizens in qualifying marketing analyst or market research positions.
What are the prevailing wage considerations for marketing jobs in North Carolina?
North Carolina's prevailing wages for marketing roles vary significantly between Charlotte's high-cost banking sector and smaller markets like Greensboro. H-1B sponsorship requires meeting Department of Labor wage determinations, which are generally lower than California or New York but must still justify the specialized nature of digital marketing, analytics, or performance marketing positions to satisfy visa requirements.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored marketing & advertising jobs in North Carolina?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
