What does a Project Manager do at WPP Production?
We are looking for a Project Manager to build a strong strategic partnership with a long-term tech client. You will develop strong partnerships with Client Producers to own & drive localization campaigns for product launches & creative originations. You will be responsible for the entire project workflow. From scoping, planning, execution, and monitoring progress to meeting a final delivery date while working with multiple teams and stakeholders. You will orchestrate projects, delegate tasks, manage your team's productivity, and be responsible for the delivery of projects at the highest standard and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing localization of all Channel marketing materials on the agency side
- Orchestrating and centralizing all aspects & steps of a project in project management tools to ensure campaign assets accuracy for multiple countries
- Building strong client relationships that enable a clear understanding of the client's Channel partner structure and print vendors
- Build strong internal relationships across the agency (Traffic, Content, Interactive, Studio, Print Production, Finance, and Operations)
- Creating presentations and reports to summarize campaign efficiency
- Demonstrating problem-solving project management experience and skills
- Set and manage client expectations ensuring agreed workflows are followed and collaborating to find swift resolutions on any issues
- Updating daily tracker during live project – shared with Producers
- Flag important scope of work fluctuations to the line manager
- Highlight opportunities for improving processes and align internally and with the Client's Producers prior to implementation
- Own the basics of client service including creating and updating agendas, timing plans, contact reports
- Communicate the briefs to the studio and localization teams, and ensure that the correct creative direction is being taken
- Writing, preparing, and presenting project documentation, presentations, and reports with a strategic mindset and point of view
- Ensure that the line manager is aware of all client issues and proposed solutions (including potential delays) to ensure swift resolution and avoid further escalation
- Keep the Project Lead and GAD informed of any circumstances which would positively or negatively affect forecasts
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Hogarth business model, services, and technology
- Organize teamwork, create a balanced work schedule, and ensure people are able to deliver results
Requirements
- 4-5 years of solid agency experience preferred, gained working on global retail and/or shopper accounts, from creative development to final production
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in English
- Demonstrate expertise in the delivery of projects through the management of client expectations, internal processes, and department involvement
- Familiarity with advertising body work and customer journey in-store and in digital environments
- Good knowledge of print, color retouching, and digital artwork production processes and best practices
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced and high-volume projects, and prioritize tasks across a team of print production artists
- Strong communication skills and consistency in reflecting project status to all stakeholders
- Excellent spreadsheet skills in both Excel and Numbers. Demonstration of past experience in managing complex projects using Project Management tools
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking ability, and passion for the work are essential
- The ability to prioritize and work quickly and efficiently within very tight timeframes
- Demonstrate clear thinking under pressure
- Disciplined and timely working approach
- A hands-on, can-do approach to solving problems
- Communication skills across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and with high volume workload
