INTRODUCTION
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Selling Supervisor (Key Holder) to join our dynamic retail team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key leader within the store, responsible for supervising daily operations, enhancing customer experience, and supporting sales growth. Your leadership will ensure smooth store management, effective team coordination, and outstanding service delivery. DUTIES
- Act as a key holder to open and close the store securely, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Lead and supervise sales associates, providing guidance on customer service, merchandising, and daily tasks.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, inventory control, and purchasing to optimize product availability.
- Manage cashiering operations with accuracy in cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) transactions, and sales processing.
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members.
- Assist in training and developing staff to improve sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
- Implement merchandising strategies to enhance store presentation and promote sales initiatives.
- Monitor store performance metrics and assist with sales management to meet or exceed targets.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Support shift management by coordinating schedules, delegating tasks, and maintaining operational efficiency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven supervisory experience in retail or a related environment with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to conduct interviews and participate in employee orientation programs effectively.
- Familiarity with payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks related to store operations.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, team management, training & development, and organizational planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work flexible hours including shifts that may extend beyond standard business hours. Some weekend and evening shifts required.
- Passion for retail management with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
