Venture Home is hiring a OH Electrician.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Electrician in the state of OH, you will be responsible for:
- Executing plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning PV solar systems
- Installing electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment
- Connecting wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
- Preparing and assembling conduits and connecting wiring through them
- Performing effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair damaged units
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What you’ll bring:
- Required experience as an electrician preferred
- Experience in residential electrical systems preferred
- Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts with paid overtime
- A valid driver's license is required
- Can work well independently and as part of a team
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and work on pitched residential roofs
- Ability to work in attics
COMPENSATION
Full time work 40+ hours, overtime pay for over 40 hours in 1 week.
This is a full-time, benefits-eligible role.
$30-$35 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
