- Prep all metal material for painting.
- Clean all products for easy paint application.
- Safely operate overhead cranes.
- Operate sanders to ensure quality paint application.
- Clean components by using air sanders and buffers.
- Clean rust, dirt and grease from product.
- Use hand scrapers in areas that cannot be reached with power tools.
- Operate dual action orbital sander on painted areas along with hand sanding.
- Operate hot water high pressure power washer to acid etch components and perform a final rinse of component.
- Maintain housekeeping and organization of area.
- Operate overhead bridge crane.
- Replace and install 55-gallon drums of phosphoric acid and sealer rinse on pressure washer.
What We Need From You
- Able to work required hours and dependable work attendance.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 3 months or more experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
- Basic reading aptitude.
- Ability to utilize crane systems.
- Ability to climb and work from ladders as well as climb on constructed plants and work while tied off to plants at elevated heights.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, crouch, use hands and fingers to push, pull, carry, reach above head and lift and lower over 40 lbs. The employee may also be required to work at heights.
