SALES GREETER / SALES DEPARTMENT ASSISTANT
Purpose of Position
The Sales Greeter / Sales Department Assistant plays a critical role in delivering an extraordinary client experience while creating lifelong client advocates. As the first person our clients encounter, this position creates a warm, welcoming first impression by greeting guests, offering hospitality, and connecting them with the appropriate team member.
In addition to providing exceptional guest service, this role supports the Sales Experience Manager throughout the sales process by performing essential operational tasks that contribute to a seamless client experience and efficient dealership operations, while not directly closing vehicle sales.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Client Experience
- Greet clients as they enter the dealership and provide a warm, professional welcome.
- Offer hospitality to clients and guests.
- Determine clients' needs and connect them with the appropriate sales team member.
- Introduce clients to the appropriate associate to ensure a seamless transition.
- Deliver exceptional guest-focused service that creates lasting positive impressions.
- Know and understand the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) process and utilize it to achieve client satisfaction.
Sales Support & Vehicle Operations
- Assist the Sales Experience Manager throughout the sales process by completing operational tasks essential to producing results.
- Keep demonstration vehicles and inventory prepared and presentation-ready.
- Pull vehicles from inventory as needed.
- Fuel delivery vehicles and demonstration vehicles.
- Wash vehicles as needed to maintain showroom standards.
- Transport sold inventory to the make-ready/preparation center.
- Maintain showroom-ready vehicle presentation at all times.
- Maintain inventory appearance and lot merchandising standards.
- Transport vehicles to clients or off-site locations for service or additional work.
- Assist with monthly physical inventory counts.
Administrative & Compliance
- Follow all Park Place Privacy and Information Security Policies and procedures.
- Attend weekly department meetings as assigned.
- Perform administrative duties and other responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record that meets company MVR requirements.
- Must be able to safely drive and operate a variety of vehicles.
- Experience using Microsoft Office preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, including background and drug testing.
