Which consumer goods companies sponsor visas in Texas?
Major Texas consumer goods employers sponsoring visas include AT&T (telecommunications equipment), Dell Technologies (computers and electronics), Frito-Lay (snack foods), Dr Pepper Snapple Group, and Mary Kay (cosmetics). Many of these companies are headquartered in Dallas-Fort Worth, with additional operations in Houston and Austin offering H-1B and other work visa opportunities for international professionals.
How to find consumer goods visa sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate specializes in connecting international job seekers with Texas consumer goods companies offering visa sponsorship. The platform filters specifically for employers with proven H-1B filing history in consumer goods manufacturing, retail operations, and product development roles across Dallas, Houston, Austin, and other Texas markets.
Which visa types are most common for consumer goods roles in Texas?
H-1B visas dominate Texas consumer goods sponsorship, particularly for product managers, supply chain analysts, and software engineers at companies like Dell and AT&T. L-1 visas are common for international transfers at multinational consumer brands, while O-1 visas occasionally appear for specialized roles in product design or marketing strategy.
Which cities in Texas have the most consumer goods sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads with major headquarters like AT&T, Frito-Lay, and Dr Pepper, followed by Houston's energy-related consumer products sector. Austin offers growing opportunities in tech-enabled consumer goods companies, while San Antonio and El Paso provide regional distribution and manufacturing roles with sponsorship potential.
What prevailing wage considerations affect consumer goods visa applications in Texas?
Texas prevailing wages for consumer goods roles vary significantly by metro area, with Dallas-Fort Worth typically commanding higher wages than smaller markets. Supply chain and logistics roles often have lower prevailing wages than product management or engineering positions, affecting H-1B Labor Condition Application requirements and visa approval strategies.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored consumer goods jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
