Which consumer goods companies sponsor E-3 visas in Texas?
Several large consumer goods companies with Texas operations have a history of sponsoring work visas, including Kimberly-Clark (headquartered in Irving), PepsiCo (which has a significant presence in Plano), and Procter & Gamble. Retailers with large Texas supply chain and commercial teams, such as 7-Eleven (headquartered in Irving), also appear in E-3 visa and H-1B visa sponsorship data. Sponsorship decisions are made case by case and are never guaranteed.
Which cities in Texas have the most consumer goods E-3 sponsorship jobs?
The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is the strongest market for consumer goods E-3 roles in Texas, largely because several major consumer goods and retail headquarters are based there, including Kimberly-Clark in Irving and 7-Eleven in Irving. Houston is a secondary hub with roles tied to distribution, logistics, and commercial functions. Austin has a smaller but growing presence, particularly for consumer tech-adjacent goods and e-commerce operations.
What types of consumer goods roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it must normally require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. In consumer goods, roles that commonly meet this standard include brand manager, marketing analyst, supply chain analyst, product development manager, financial analyst, and data analyst. General sales, warehouse, or operations roles that don't require a specific degree typically do not qualify.
How do I find consumer goods E-3 sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers on work visas, including the E-3, and lets you filter by visa type, industry, and state. Searching for consumer goods roles in Texas on Migrate Mate surfaces employers who have sponsored work visas before, which is one of the clearest signals that a company is open to E-3 sponsorship. This is more efficient than filtering through general job boards that don't surface visa sponsorship information.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for consumer goods E-3 sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects total compensation comparisons when evaluating offers. For E-3 purposes, what matters most is that the employer files a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor and that the role qualifies as a specialty occupation. Texas's large consumer goods sector, particularly in the DFW metroplex, means there are more employers familiar with visa sponsorship processes than in smaller markets, but each employer's willingness to sponsor still depends on their internal policies and HR experience.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 consumer goods jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
