You will partner with business stakeholders, IT integration teams, and external vendors to deliver best-in-class order-to-cash operations that drive efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

- Collaborate with business users and cross-functional IT/integration teams to gather, analyze and document business requirements, configuration needs, and integration requirements (IDocs, middleware, API).
- Design and configure SAP OTC modules and related enhancements, translating business requirements into functional specifications (WRICEF) and facilitating system design, build, testing and go-live activities.
- Drive integration between SAP and external ordering, e-commerce, CRM or third-party systems using IDoc, EDI or middleware platforms; monitor and resolve interface issues, ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Provide system support & maintenance post go-live: troubleshoot functional and integration issues, lead root-cause analyses, propose and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
- Work with master-data, supply chain and logistics leads to ensure material, customer and pricing data governance supporting the OTC solution.
- Partner with business process owners to identify and implement continuous improvements leveraging SAP best practices and new functionality.
- Develop and deliver user training materials, documentation and ongoing support to business users and key stakeholders.
- Participate in project planning, change control, release management and system governance—ensuring adherence to standards, controls and operational excellence.

- Demonstrated experience with one or more full-life-cycle SAP implementations (preferably S/4HANA) and sustainment support.
- Proven experience designing and supporting system integrations (IDocs, middleware, EDI, APIs) between SAP and external systems (e-commerce portals, CRM, trading partners).
- Expert knowledge of SAP SD/OTC configuration: order types, item categories, schedule lines, deliveries, billing, pricing procedures, output determination, credit management.
- Solid understanding of integration concepts and landscape: IDoc types, interface design, middleware tools (SAP CPI or equivalent).
- Expert ability to translate business problems into detailed functional specifications, liaise with developers/integration teams, and oversee end-to-end solution delivery.
- Expert analytical, problem-solving and data-integrity skills.
- Expert written and verbal communication skills, able to engage with both technical and business audiences.

Which consumer goods companies sponsor E-3 visas in California?
Several large consumer goods employers with California headquarters or major offices have sponsored E-3 visas, including Levi Strauss, The Gap, Clorox, and Mattel. Beauty and personal care brands concentrated in Los Angeles, as well as food and beverage companies in the Bay Area, also appear in Department of Labor LCA disclosure data as E-3 sponsors. Sponsorship patterns vary by role and hiring cycle.
Which cities in California have the most consumer goods E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Los Angeles has the highest concentration of consumer goods E-3 opportunities, particularly in fashion, beauty, entertainment-adjacent consumer brands, and packaged goods. The San Francisco Bay Area is strong for consumer technology products and e-commerce brands. San Diego has a smaller but active market, especially in health and wellness consumer goods. Most headquarters and regional offices driving sponsorship decisions are concentrated in these three metros.
What types of consumer goods roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it must normally require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. In consumer goods, roles that commonly meet this standard include brand manager, supply chain analyst, financial analyst, marketing analyst, product development specialist, and UX researcher. General sales or operations roles where a degree in any field satisfies the requirement may face more scrutiny.
How do I find consumer goods E-3 sponsorship jobs in California?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find consumer goods E-3 sponsorship jobs in California. The platform filters specifically for E-3-eligible roles and employers with a history of sponsorship, so you're not sifting through postings from companies that won't support visa applications. You can filter by industry and state to focus on California consumer goods roles, which saves significant time compared to searching general job boards.
Are there any California-specific considerations for E-3 sponsorship in consumer goods?
California's strong labor protections mean employers must comply with both federal prevailing wage requirements for the Labor Condition Application and California's own wage and hour laws, which can affect offer structuring. California also has a large concentration of consumer goods startups and mid-size brands that may be less familiar with E-3 sponsorship, so it's worth confirming early in the hiring process that the employer's legal team has experience with E-3 applications.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 consumer goods jobs in California?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
