Which consumer goods companies in Florida sponsor E-3 visas?
Florida-based consumer goods employers with histories of sponsoring skilled foreign workers include Bacardi (Miami), Reckitt (Parsippany has Florida operations), and large retail and distribution firms headquartered around Tampa and Orlando. Multinational packaged goods companies operating Florida regional offices, including Procter & Gamble and Unilever distribution hubs, have also filed work visa sponsorships. Sponsorship is never guaranteed and varies by role, team budget, and hiring cycle.
Which cities in Florida have the most consumer goods E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads for consumer goods E-3 visa opportunities given its concentration of food and beverage brands, Latin American import-export operations, and personal care companies with international workforces. Tampa and Orlando follow, particularly in supply chain management, retail operations, and product marketing. Jacksonville also has growing distribution and logistics roles tied to consumer goods manufacturers moving goods through its port.
What types of consumer goods roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship in Florida?
E-3 sponsorship requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it must normally require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. In Florida's consumer goods sector, roles commonly meeting this standard include brand manager, supply chain analyst, product development specialist, marketing analyst, and food scientist. General warehouse, retail floor, or operations coordinator roles without a degree requirement typically do not qualify.
How do I find consumer goods E-3 sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers needing visa sponsorship, including E-3 candidates targeting consumer goods roles in Florida. You can filter by state, visa type, and industry to surface relevant openings at companies with sponsorship histories. This is more efficient than searching general job boards, which rarely surface sponsorship eligibility information clearly for consumer goods positions in Florida.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for E-3 sponsorship in consumer goods?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects total compensation comparisons but does not change federal E-3 visa requirements. Because Florida's consumer goods sector is heavily trade-oriented, particularly around Miami's import-export activity, many roles involve international supply chains where Australian candidates with global experience can be competitive. E-3 applicants still need a certified Labor Condition Application and a qualifying job offer before applying at a U.S. consulate in Australia.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 consumer goods jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
