Search Marketing & Advertising Jobs in TexasMarketing & Advertising E-3 Sponsorship Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
Which marketing and advertising companies sponsor E-3 visas in Texas?
Texas hosts a range of employers with E-3 sponsorship history in marketing and advertising, including large agency holding companies with Dallas offices, in-house marketing teams at major retailers and energy firms headquartered in Houston, and technology-driven advertising platforms based in Austin. Employers with a track record of filing Labor Condition Applications for specialty occupation marketing roles are generally more experienced with the E-3 process.
Which cities in Texas have the most marketing and advertising E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Dallas and its surrounding suburbs, particularly Plano and Irving, concentrate the highest number of marketing and advertising E-3 roles due to the presence of major agency offices and corporate headquarters. Austin has become a secondary hub driven by its technology sector, which generates strong demand for digital marketing specialists. Houston also offers opportunities, especially within energy, healthcare, and consumer goods companies with dedicated marketing functions.
What types of marketing and advertising roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it must normally require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In marketing and advertising, roles such as digital marketing manager, brand strategist, market research analyst, media planner, and marketing analytics specialist commonly meet this standard. Generalist coordinator or assistant roles without a clear degree requirement in a specific field may be harder to qualify.
How do I find marketing and advertising E-3 sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search, allowing you to filter for marketing and advertising positions in Texas where employers have verified E-3 sponsorship history based on DOL Labor Condition Application filings. This removes the guesswork of approaching employers who may not be familiar with the E-3 category. Filtering by city, role type, and employer filing history gives Australian marketing professionals a more targeted and efficient job search in Texas.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for E-3 sponsorship in marketing and advertising?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects total compensation discussions but does not change federal E-3 visa requirements. Employers in Texas must still file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL certifying that the offered wage meets the prevailing wage for the specific marketing role and geographic area, which you can verify using the OFLC Wage Search tool. Texas employers across industries are generally familiar with employment-based visa sponsorship given the state's large international workforce.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 marketing & advertising jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
