Which accounting companies sponsor E-3 visas in Texas?
The Big Four firms, Deloitte, PwC, EY, and KPMG, are among the most consistent E-3 visa sponsors for accounting roles in Texas, with offices in Dallas, Houston, and Austin. Regional firms such as BDO and Grant Thornton also have a Texas presence. Large corporations in the energy, technology, and financial services sectors, including those headquartered in Houston and the Dallas-Fort Worth area, have also filed Labor Condition Applications for accounting positions.
Which cities in Texas have the most accounting E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston are the two strongest markets for accounting E-3 sponsorship in Texas. Dallas is home to numerous corporate headquarters and major professional services offices, while Houston's energy sector generates consistent demand for cost accountants, internal auditors, and financial analysts. Austin is a growing market driven by technology company expansion, and San Antonio has a smaller but active presence through financial services and healthcare employers.
How do I find accounting E-3 sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa type and state, so you can search for accounting roles in Texas that are open to E-3 candidates without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. The platform covers roles across public accounting, corporate finance, and internal audit functions. Filtering by the accounting and auditing category within Texas gives you the most relevant results for your job search.
What types of accounting roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship in Texas?
Roles that qualify must meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning they require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as accounting, finance, or a closely related discipline. Positions commonly filed under E-3 in Texas include staff accountant, senior auditor, tax associate, financial analyst, and management accountant. General bookkeeping or clerical finance roles that do not require a degree in a specific field are unlikely to qualify.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for accounting E-3 sponsorship?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects compensation structuring but does not change E-3 eligibility requirements. The Labor Condition Application your employer files must reflect the prevailing wage for the specific metro area, so the wage standard in Houston differs from that in Austin or Dallas. Texas also hosts a large number of energy-sector employers whose accounting needs, particularly in cost accounting and revenue recognition, are specialized and may shape which degree backgrounds are most competitive.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 accounting jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
