Which e-commerce companies sponsor E-3 visas in Texas?
Texas-based e-commerce employers with E-3 visa sponsorship history include large retailers with fulfillment and corporate operations in the state, such as Amazon, Neiman Marcus, and GameStop, whose digital and marketplace teams are headquartered in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Austin's growing direct-to-consumer and SaaS-enabled retail sector also includes companies like Bazaarvoice and BigCommerce that have sponsored E-3 candidates for technical and commercial roles.
Which cities in Texas have the most e-commerce E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Dallas-Fort Worth leads Texas for e-commerce E-3 sponsorship, driven by corporate headquarters of major retail brands and a dense concentration of logistics and marketplace operations. Austin follows closely, particularly for roles at e-commerce software platforms and digitally native brands. Houston offers opportunities within supply chain, customer acquisition, and omnichannel retail teams, though at lower volume than DFW or Austin.
What types of e-commerce roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship in Texas?
Roles that typically qualify require a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In e-commerce, these include software engineers, product managers, data analysts, digital marketing managers, UX designers, and marketplace operations specialists. Roles framed around general business administration or account management are harder to qualify, since the E-3 specialty occupation standard requires a theoretical and practical application of a specific body of knowledge tied to the degree.
How do I find e-commerce E-3 sponsorship jobs in Texas?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find e-commerce E-3 sponsorship jobs in Texas. The platform filters job listings specifically by visa type and state, so you can browse roles where employers have an established pattern of E-3 sponsorship rather than cold-applying to companies with no history of it. Filtering by the E-Commerce industry category and Texas narrows results to the most relevant opportunities.
Are there any Texas-specific considerations for E-3 sponsorship in e-commerce?
Texas has no state income tax, which affects total compensation comparisons when evaluating offers, though this does not change E-3 eligibility requirements. E-commerce employers in Texas operating across multiple sites may list roles under different office locations, so confirming which city your position is based in matters for the Labor Condition Application, which is tied to the worksite. Remote arrangements require separate LCA filings for each state where you physically work.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 e-commerce jobs in Texas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
