About the Role
American Stone is hiring a full-time Inbound Salesperson to support customers, process orders, and drive sales through incoming inquiries and in-store interactions.
Compensation: Base + Commission (high performers can earn up to $60K+ in their first year)
This role focuses on building relationships with contractors, landscapers, and retail customers by providing product guidance, processing orders, and identifying upsell opportunities.
This is a primarily on-site position based at one of our locations. Candidates must be local and available to work during business hours, including Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Assist walk-in customers and respond to inbound calls and inquiries
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, landscapers, and retail customers
- Process orders accurately and efficiently
- Recommend products and identify upsell opportunities
- Coordinate with yard and operations teams to fulfill orders
- Maintain organized records and customer information
- Follow up with customers to support repeat business
- Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Basic computer skills (email, Google Docs, Microsoft Word)
- Ability to work on-site and occasionally assist with light physical tasks
Preferred:
- Sales experience (inside or retail sales)
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or related industries
- Spanish is a plus
