As an Investment Consultant (IC) at Schwab, you have the opportunity to learn and grow within our Branch Network at the ground floor. The first foray into the path towards becoming a Financial Consultant (FC) at Schwab, the IC role provides the exposure and experience required to advance in this challenging space. You’ll learn what it takes to build a book of business through proactive, outbound calls to existing Schwab clients, uncovering opportunities through needs-based analysis and positioning appropriate products and solutions. What you have
Required Qualifications:
- A valid and active Series 7 license is required (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program)
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment)
- A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained under a condition of employment)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Ability to leverage Business development experience
- Passion for gaining knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services
- Openness to build strong client relationships
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
