Precision Employment is assisting with finding a Warehouse Operations Lead and Customer Service Associate for Beautera Professional, a Denver based beauty supply company.

Position Summary:

Oversee and actively lead the team by participating in the planning, coordination, storage, and distribution of salon, spa, and barbering products and services. Provide hands-on oversight and streamline operational procedures of daily warehouse, sales, and customer service to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective performance and processes in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Customer service is a top priority. The Warehouse Operations Lead and Customer Service Associate supports sales growth with both existing and new clients by identifying customer needs and recommending products based on purchasing history. Maintaining strong attention to detail is required to ensure accurate order fulfillment, including verifying that the correct products are shipped to the correct addresses while minimizing picking and shipping errors. This position is expected to deliver excellent service at every stage of the customer experience while maintaining accurate and organized inventory as well as supporting overall operational efficiency.

Essential Functions:

Warehouse & Operations

• Lead and actively participate in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping professional beauty products.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations and work alongside team members to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Monitor inventory levels, review sales trends, and communicate purchasing needs to the buyer to help prevent shortages and overstock.
• Monitor inventory levels, receive, inspect, label, stock, and organize merchandise using FIFO methods.
• Review purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents for accuracy.
• Track defective or damaged merchandise and report issues to management.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment and tools, including forklifts, safely and according to company procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operating costs.
• Identify and report safety concerns, security risks, or theft.

Customer Service & Sales

• Provide exceptional customer service by phone, email, and in person.
• Answer customer questions, take orders, provide product information, and resolve customer complaints or shipping issues promptly and professionally.
• Develop an understanding of customer needs and recommend products based on purchasing history and current promotions.
• Maintain knowledge of products, pricing, promotions, payment policies, exchange procedures and security practices.
• Sell products on behalf of the company, compute sales totals and process cash and credit card transactions.
• Communicate with customers about new products, promotions, and special opportunities.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Assist staff as needed.

Order Fulfillment & Shipping

• Pull and accurately pack customer orders, verifying product numbers, quantities, shipping addresses, special instructions, and attention lines prior to shipment to prevent errors.
• Oversee the complete order cycle, including sales order entry, generating picking tickets, verifying order accuracy, processing payments, printing shipping labels, ensuring correct labeling of packages, invoicing customers, and posting transaction updates in our ERP.
• Assist in scheduling, coordinating and tracking deliveries and pick-up options as needed.
• Select efficient and cost-effective shipping methods while ensuring products are protected and delivered safely and on time.
• Maintain extreme attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, pricing, and order documentation, including sales, exchanges, shipments, and inventory records.
• Reuse and repurpose appropriate boxing and packing materials whenever possible to keep packaging costs to the minimum possible while maintaining product protection and professional presentation.
• Assess office supply needs, place orders, confirm receipt of goods, and unpack merchandise as required.

• Experienced in warehouse operations, shipping, inventory, customer service, or professional beauty distribution is preferred.

Physical Demands

The employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, use hands, reach and lift with arms, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to frequently lift more than 50 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The employee works primarily in a warehouse and office environment but may also be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme cold or extreme heat. This position is around equipment, such as a forklift, and safety is a top priority. Forklift experience is a plus.
