- Serve as positive role model and lead to team by performing all job duties in accordance with TEC values - with a focus on teamwork, being accountable and taking ownership of tasks, problem-solving, and always striving toward the satisfaction and success of our customers.
- Work with Parts Manager to delegate tasks to warehouse team to achieve optimal workflow, coach and motivate team
- Train new warehouse staff and work with team members to provide a welcoming environment
- Promote a safe work environment through own actions. Immediately notify supervisor of any safety concerns, injuries, or accidents
- Accurately enter information into inventory system and ensure all other records kept are clear and accurate
- Work with Parts and Service Managers to create and maintain inventory levels of mobile repair units
- Assist team with all other warehouse duties as needed:
- Check in and put stock away
- Dirty core processing and shipping
- Receive various shipments (UPS, FedEx, LTL freight, etc.)
- Pull parts for will call and delivery customers
- Clean and organize warehouse and shelves
- Monitor cleanliness and integrity of trucks through daily truck inspection form
- Solid knowledge of warehouse operations, preferably within Parts department
- Experience in warehouse lead role with successful experience training and coaching team members desired
- Experience in truck or trailer industry
- Basic computer skills to be able to accurately enter data
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail, highly motivated to get tasks done, and able to motivate and communicate effectively with others
- Flexibility in schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to become forklift certified and to operate forklift
- Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs and meet all other physical requirements of the job, performing work in safe and alert manner (job requires frequent lifting/moving, climbing, stooping, kneeling, seeing, grasping, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license
