Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and participating in the operations and activities of the warehouse as it relates to production and logistics.

You are exceptionally detail oriented, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time.

Essential Responsibilities:

Recruit and manage warehouse personnel:

• Oversees the warehouse staff to achieve a satisfactory workflow.
• Establish and manage a cross-functional team that places value on a collaborative environment.
• Empower team members to take ownership. Motivate team members to be proactive and creative in their resolution techniques.
• Evaluate the work of the project team against goals and objectives of the project. Provide feedback. Follow up on items requiring improvement, continue to offer feedback, direction, and recognition as appropriate.
• Maintain a safe work environment and lead by example in the office and in the field.

Monitor and consult on the performance of project production:

• Direct the proper assembly, building, packaging, and logistics of goods, products and displays according to plans and instructions. Identify opportunities for performance improvement and process redesign. Lead and implement changes, which benefit the project and performance of the team
• Approach a complex task or problem by breaking it down and considering each part in detail. When deciding, weigh the costs, benefits, risks, and chances for success.
• Define clear and quantifiable objectives, goals, deliverables, and standards to be met.
• Identify missing or incomplete work and initiate steps to correct or complete that work that needs to be done.
• Strives to continue to develop and maintain a depth and breadth of knowledge of our multiple industries, functions, and processes.
• Create and publish weekly/monthly production schedules based upon all available information.
• Each day, accurately and completely prepare all inventory documentation (i.e. the daily inventory adjustment sheet, bill of materials).

Establish and maintain project controls:

• Assess risk levels associated with the project such as the purpose of the project or durability aspects.
• Maintains systems of organization that are efficient, accurate and complete.
• Accurately record all daily activities on a timecard.
• Be able to provide hand-on assistance in building and/or installation as needed.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years’ experience as a production lead, including supervisory experience.
• Prior experience in planning installations and lead installation crews.
• Office 365 and Project Management Software experience required.

KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge in working with the following: furniture-making, exhibits, display, events, finishing, acrylic, fiberglass, solid surface, sound, lighting, low voltage wiring and electronics.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and processes.
• Familiarity with print manufacturing materials and consumables such as rolled goods, inks, adhesives, substrates, and finishing supplies (preferred).

• Good written/oral communication; active listening skills.
• Demonstrates flexibility in constructive problem solving, navigating change, and overcoming challenges.
• Maintain an objective, fact-based perspective and encourage teams to display transparency on status.
• Demonstrated accurate record keeping skills.

ABILITIES

• Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and respond appropriately to constant change in priorities and services.
• Ability to exercise good judgment in maintaining a safe work environment and be an advocate for safety best practices.
• Read and understand blueprints and layouts.
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools, pallet jack and/or hand truck.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Communicate and express ideas and exchange accurate information.
• Move about a manufacturing environment in both seasonally cold/hot environments.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
