Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. The Warehouse Manager is a hands-on position responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse functions and providing people and operational leadership for the Warehouse. With a strong focus on safety this position ensures product is accurately picked to support delivery to our customers. This position will report to the Vice President of Procurement.

Job Responsibilities:

· Supervise and oversee all warehouse functions, working with all departments and locations to ensure smooth and productive daily operations

· Schedule team members to handle daily requirements for picking and putting away product; Determine and implement ways to reallocate team members to meet daily needs due to vacations, call outs, short staff, etc.

· Manage the efficient flow of all products coming into and out of the warehouse; picking, packing and loading onto the designated route trucks satisfying accurate and timely delivery to customers; includes placement of product in the warehouse

· Maintain the warehouse operating system in relation to product database, use available reporting, and train warehouse employees to operate the system

· Conduct physical inventory or cycle counts and end of month inventory reconciliation

· Assist with and verify proper stocking and storage of products, product rotation and first in first out

· Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse facility, coolers and storage areas at all times

· Support overall facility maintenance (Interior and Exterior) by reporting issues to proper individuals

· Handle simple maintenance issues as able

· Coordinate inventory of various employee work items including high-visibility vests, gloves, etc.

· Monitor/log fresh and frozen items for safe food temperature

· Manage labor and department budget and identify ways to gain efficiencies

· Ensure compliance with local, state and federal government requirements

· Ensure compliance with company policies, practices and procedures

o Communicate all changes to all associates

· Coach, developing and mentoring direct reports; utilizing the performance management process to set goals and assessing development needs for each individual report

· Conduct year-end reviews of all production, key vendors and overall performance of the team; making appropriate recommendations and decisions based on analysis for the following year

· Maintain a favorable and collaborative working relationship with co-workers in all departments to foster an environment of trust and mutual respect; Drive standards and best practices whenever possible and effectively fostering a culture of engagement

· Align department strategy with organizational goals

· Enhance the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new requests and assignments in a timely manner

· Promote and adhere to the BE’S Way (Be Safe, Be Great and Be Ready) by integrating them into every action, decision, communication and touchpoints with team members, customers, and vendors

· Drive standards and best practices whenever possible and effectively foster a culture of engagement

Requirements & Preferences:

Education:

· High School Diploma or GED – Required

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management or Related Field – Preferred

· Proven leadership with directly supervising team members including coaching, developing a team, performance management, hiring, and termination

· High degree of honesty and integrity; team-player with ability to also work independently, exercise good judgement and take initiative with minimal direction and oversight

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Application Question(s):

• This positions works Sunday - Thursday with core hours being 8am - 4pm, however additional hours may be necessary to ensure consistent operations. Are you able and willing to work those days and hours?

Work Location: In person
