Account Operations Manager Jobs in Wyoming: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a account operations manager in Wyoming?
Most account operations manager roles in Wyoming require a bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field, followed by several years in account coordination, operations support, or client services. Wyoming does not issue a state-specific license for this role. Employers in Cheyenne and Casper typically promote from within account coordinator or operations analyst positions, and candidates with experience in Wyoming's dominant sectors, including energy, healthcare, and state government, have a clear advantage.
How much do account operations managers make in Wyoming?
Account operations managers in Wyoming earn a median of about $63,050 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $42,810 for the lowest 10% to over $87,890 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire account operations managers in Wyoming?
Employers hiring account operations managers in Wyoming right now include State Farm, HUB International, and Townsquare Media, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Wyoming's energy, healthcare, and state government sectors drive much of the consistent demand for this role statewide.
Which Wyoming cities have the most account operations manager jobs?
Casper, Cheyenne, and Jackson have the most account operations manager openings in Wyoming. Cheyenne leads due to its concentration of state government offices, financial services firms, and regional corporate headquarters, while Casper's energy industry presence and Laramie's University of Wyoming campus and surrounding business community generate steady demand in their own right.
Are there remote account operations manager jobs in Wyoming?
Yes, and more than most fields, since account operations management is largely desk-based and communication-driven. About 14% of account operations manager openings tied to Wyoming are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how frequently companies post roles that can be handled off-site. Account reporting, client communication, and CRM management are the functions most commonly performed remotely.
How can I get hired as a account operations manager in Wyoming with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into an account coordinator or operations support role first, then building toward a manager title. Large Wyoming employers like Black Hills Energy and Wyoming Medical Center regularly fill junior operations and account support positions that serve as direct pipelines into account management. Lateral moves from customer service, billing, or administrative operations roles are common. Earning a project management or CRM certification strengthens a candidate's profile significantly when formal experience is limited.
Where can I find and apply to account operations manager jobs in Wyoming?
You can find and apply to account operations manager jobs in Wyoming on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Find a role that fits and apply directly from the listing.
