SUMMARY
The Accounts Receivable Analyst works with our Mission Critical team and senior management to assist customers, clients, and vendors through processing invoices for payment and preparing customer invoices with strong attention to detail. A strong knowledge of accounting principles and software systems is required. The role also requires strong critical thinking and analysis skills.
DUTIES
- Maintain retainer list of customers to ensure proper management of monthly, quarterly, or annual adjustments as needed.
- Assist in receiving and researching payments from customers and match to invoices.
- Prepare monthly retainers for all division customers.
- Maintain and track over 10+ customer web portals.
- Analyze AR data and develop new strategies to improve collection processes.
- Maintain records for reporting purposes on all transactions.
- Assist operations team in resolving issues or customer service problems.
- Ensure the timely reporting of all daily, weekly, and monthly financial information.
- Manage division's accounts receivable function to ensure customers are timely.
- Customer portal management including collections and reporting on accounts receivable metrics.
- Prepare adjustments on internal and external financial entries.
- Support overall department goals and perform any other administrative duties as assigned.
