The Nathan M. Bisk College of Business at Florida Institute of Technology is looking for a unique academic scholar to join our team in changing the way business education is delivered. We invite applications from enthusiastic, highly engaged faculty for an adjunct position in Accounting. The candidate must be academically qualified in foundational areas of accounting at the undergraduate level.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting or a closely related field required; CPA preferred.
- Prior college-level teaching experience preferred.
- Professional accounting experience in public, corporate, governmental, or nonprofit accounting is desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills.
- Experience with learning management systems is a plus.
This is a part-time, per-course appointment with teaching opportunities available throughout the academic year. Applicants should be committed to student success and fostering an engaging learning environment.

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report
The federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires colleges and universities, both public and private, participating in federal student aid programs to disclose campus safety information, and imposes certain basic requirements for handling incidents of sexual violence and emergency situations.
Florida Tech’s 2025 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Florida Tech; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
The numbers provided include crime statistics that were reported to local law enforcement agencies, campus security and other Campus Security Authorities.
The report also includes institutional policy statements regarding campus safety and security measures; descriptions of prevention and awareness programs; related university procedures and important guidance; and other essential safety information.

Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Office of Human Resources prior to the first day of employment. (NACES).
