Assistant Account Manager Jobs in Wyoming: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a assistant account manager in Wyoming?
Most assistant account manager roles in Wyoming are accessible with a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, though some employers also consider candidates with an associate degree plus relevant work experience. Wyoming does not require a state-issued license for general account management work, but roles in commercial insurance support may require or benefit from a Wyoming resident producer license issued through the Wyoming Department of Insurance. Building experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative coordination is the most direct path into the role.
Which companies hire assistant account managers in Wyoming?
Employers hiring assistant account managers in Wyoming right now include State Farm, Spectrum, and AT&T, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Wyoming's energy, transportation, and agricultural sectors generate steady demand from both regional headquarters and field-facing operations teams across the state.
Which Wyoming cities have the most assistant account manager jobs?
Casper, Cheyenne, and Jackson are the Wyoming cities with the most assistant account manager openings. Cheyenne draws the largest share thanks to its concentration of state government contractors, insurance carriers, and corporate regional offices, while Casper's energy industry and Gillette's coal and mining operations generate consistent demand for client-facing account support roles in those markets.
Are there remote assistant account manager jobs in Wyoming?
Yes, and they are reasonably common given the desk-based, communication-focused nature of account management work. About 33% of assistant account manager openings tied to Wyoming are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the role's strong fit with distributed team structures. Client communication, CRM management, and reporting tasks are most frequently performed remotely, while in-person site visits or client meetings may still be expected for roles tied to Wyoming's energy or agricultural accounts.
How can I get hired as a assistant account manager in Wyoming with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting in a customer service, sales support, or administrative coordinator role with a Wyoming employer in energy, insurance, or logistics, then moving laterally into account management as you build client-facing experience. Large Wyoming employers in commercial insurance and energy services sometimes hire new graduates directly into account coordinator or client services associate roles that feed into assistant account manager positions. Earning a Wyoming resident producer license through the Department of Insurance gives candidates a meaningful edge when targeting insurance-sector openings, and familiarity with CRM tools strengthens applications across all sectors.
Where can I find and apply to assistant account manager jobs in Wyoming?
You can find and apply to assistant account manager jobs in Wyoming on Migrate Mate, which lists current Wyoming openings updated regularly. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your background and location preferences, and apply directly to the positions that fit.
