This position primarily processes all submitted compliance data and supporting documents and may conduct database entry as an agency compliance auditor. Please note this position follows a hybrid work schedule to include both in-office and telework. Candidates must be able to work from the assigned work location in Virginia. This position may require you to operate a state owned or leased vehicle. Therefore, a valid driver's license is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position's responsibility is to manage the process of evaluating and tracking water program data, as submitted, in order to analyze and evaluate data for determining compliance with water permits program, regulations and laws. This includes identifying violations and determining appropriate point assessment and formal compliance actions, as necessary. The position provides consistent and timely responses for violations of environmental laws regulations and policies; operates and maintains the CEDS database for compliance violation determinations; and ensures CEDS data accuracy for assigned programs. The position may also serve, as applicable, as the program administrator for processing electronic data and reports submitted to the agency.
