About the Role
This is an individual-contributor B2B sales role focused on acquiring new clients and closing paid projects. It is not a people-management position and not a lead-generation-only role.
You will own the full sales cycle—from identifying prospects and conducting discovery calls to preparing proposals, negotiating terms, securing signed agreements, and supporting payment collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect businesses that need video production, social media content, advertising, or other marketing services.
- Generate sales opportunities through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, local business outreach, and company-provided leads.
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and qualify each opportunity based on business needs, budget, decision-making authority, timeline, and likelihood of purchase.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand the client’s goals, challenges, target audience, required services, budget, and project timeline.
- Present the company’s portfolio, capabilities, service packages, pricing, and recommended solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Work with the production and advertising teams to develop project scopes, quotations, proposals, timelines, and service agreements.
- Maintain consistent follow-up, address client questions and objections, negotiate commercial terms, and move qualified opportunities toward signed contracts.
- Take direct responsibility for closing new business and converting sales opportunities into confirmed, paid client projects.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including prospect activity, opportunity stage, proposal value, next steps, expected close date, and sales forecast.
- Provide a complete handoff to the operations team after closing and identify future opportunities for renewals, recurring services, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for signed contracts, collected revenue, new clients, and gross profit.
