INTRODUCTION
Who We Are
Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion. Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Notion has a very successful "land and expand" business model. Meaning, our customers start using Notion for free, upgrade over time as they expand their teams, and embrace increasingly sophisticated use cases. Often, these users and champions are different than the person who has enterprise purchasing authority. The Demand Generation team serves as a dot-connector across sales, marketing, and operation teams to identify, engage, and convert decision makers at our target mid market and enterprise companies. In this role, you will partner with the global sales team to understand key focus areas and collaborate with the broader Demand Generation team to scale our sales-assist strategy. As the Demand Generation Campaign Manager, you will own and execute campaigns for our sales-assist audience, direct mail, ecosystem co-marketing, and be accountable for pipeline contribution. This strategic position focuses on driving results that meaningfully contribute to Notion's bottom line.
WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE
- 8+ years of related marketing experience
- Develop deep expertise in the Notion product, user, and buyer journey to inform strategy, partnering closely with the Head of Enterprise Demand Gen to build programs that fit Notion's funnel and market
- Own strategy, execution, and outcomes for targeted account programs, engaging marquee accounts and buying committees through their buying journey
- Partner closely with Sales and broader Marketing team to build customized marketing plans and objectives for top accounts and craft hyper-relevant, tailored programs, that nurture those accounts from prospecting to close to expansion
- Track key performance indicators such as leads generated, pipeline contribution, program performance metrics, and revenue influenced, and report on your programs with actionable insights
- Partner with our Operation and BizTech teams to manage and better utilize our go-to-market systems
- You’ll have the opportunity to take on a variety of projects that support upmarket pipeline, ranging from events, digital campaigns, direct mail, and more
SKILLS YOU'LL NEED TO BRING
- You're a creative problem-solver who doesn't wait for a perfect playbook. You've built programs from scratch, and you're energized by figuring out what works in new territory.
- You thrive in ambiguity. You can move fast with incomplete information, make smart judgment calls, and adjust quickly when things change.
- You have a bias for action and experimentation. You'd rather test and learn than wait for consensus, and you know how to balance scrappiness with strategic thinking.
- You're a strong cross-functional collaborator. You know how to work with sales, ops, and creative teams — and you can align people around a shared goal without needing authority to do it.
- You're pipeline-obsessed. You understand how your programs connect to revenue and can speak credibly about pipeline contribution, not just top-of-funnel metrics.
- You have a growth mindset around AI — you're already experimenting with it in your work and excited about what it unlocks for marketers.
NICE TO HAVES
- Have strong problem-solving skills to identify and prioritize target accounts, using data-driven insights, and market research to determine the most valuable accounts.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and defining new programs/processes when we’re doing something for the first time
- Customer-centric and driven by insights. You understand the customer journey, each influencer within the decision making process, and leverage customer insights to design your campaigns.
COMPENSATION
Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. A NOTE ON AI
You don’t need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect every Notino to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement — when that’s the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don’t treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

Campaign Manager Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a campaign manager in New York?
Most campaign managers in New York enter through a bachelor's degree in political science, communications, marketing, or public relations, followed by hands-on work in campaign coordination, organizing, or media buying. New York does not require a state license to work in campaign management. Employers in New York City's advertising and political sectors typically want candidates who have worked on a real campaign cycle, whether local, state, or issue-based, before moving into a manager role.
How much do campaign managers make in New York?
Campaign managers in New York earn a median of about $181,200 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $104,140 for the lowest 10% to over $324,310 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire campaign managers in New York?
Employers hiring campaign managers in New York right now include Criteo, DoorDash, and Gen Digital, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. New York's concentration of advertising agencies, political consultancies, and large nonprofits means openings appear year-round, not just during election cycles.
Which New York cities have the most campaign manager jobs?
New York and Rochester have the most campaign manager openings in New York. New York City dominates because it is home to the country's largest concentration of advertising agencies, political consulting firms, and national nonprofit headquarters, while Albany generates steady demand tied to state government campaigns and advocacy organizations, and Buffalo draws openings from regional media buyers and local political operations.
Are there remote campaign manager jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than many fields. About 25% of campaign manager openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting the role's heavy reliance on digital tools, data platforms, and video collaboration. Strategy, analytics, and digital advertising execution are the functions most commonly done fully remote, while fundraising events and on-the-ground political campaigns typically require in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a campaign manager in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a campaign coordinator or campaign associate role, which large New York advertising agencies and political consulting firms post specifically for early-career candidates. Organizations like New York City-based advocacy nonprofits and state party committees regularly bring on field organizers and digital assistants who move into management after one or two cycles. Building a portfolio through volunteer political campaigns or pro bono nonprofit work is the credential that opens doors when a formal degree alone is not enough.
Where can I find and apply to campaign manager jobs in New York?
