About the Role

In this highly visible role, you will support our Marketing organization and drive campaign processes and governance, enabling AT&T’s way of Marketing. You are a cross-functional marketing expert who leverages data to drive progress across stakeholders, mitigates risks before they emerge and are a go-to for solving the most challenging problems. You thrive on driving clarity, cohesion, and consistency by developing new systems, processes, and thinking to effectively enable our marketing machine.
Responsible for cross-functional management of critical go-to-market campaigns and all that entails, driving strategic alignment and efficiency across AT&T’s portfolio and for all relevant stakeholders across Product and Brand Marketing and respective partners.
The ideal candidate would be considered a Marketing expert and have experience in driving change in a large organization. You are grounded in marketing strategy, end-to-end campaign management, and process optimization. This is far more than a project management role. You are a steward of accountability and an influencer of AT&T’s value and impact to consumers, and instrumental to our continued success.
You will be responsible for:
Campaign management and governance
Manage the intricacies of complex marketing campaigns from genesis/ pre-planning through launch and optimization.
Pay keen attention to detail for timelines to ensure clear communication at the working and executive level to assist in clear and timely decision-making for each campaign milestone.
Document progress, alerts & variances, and timelines of respective campaigns to ensure marketing records remain up to date with the latest strategies, decisions and outcomes.
Effectively plan and facilitate working checkpoints with all levels of leadership. Synthesize the decisions and care for their follow-through.
Utilize working knowledge of Adobe Workfront or similar workflow management tool.
Strategic coordination to ensure optimized execution
Cross-analyze and meaningfully contribute to multiple layers of marketing planning, from strategic annual plans to channel and messaging-specific plans.
Ensure marketing approaches and executions tightly tie to foundational plans and strategies. Escalate and course-correct when they don’t.
Monitor campaign launches and performance. Lead reviews and retrospectives that suggest optimizations and future improvements.
Enablement of AT&T way of Marketing
Drive rigor around AT&T’s way of Marketing for planned and in-year programs and consistently seek ways to create efficiencies.
Enable collaboration across MGO and partner organizations to ensure successful execution of the strategic vision.
Support marketing stakeholders to reach goals, mitigate risk and remove roadblocks, capturing all key information so improved process can be replicated.
Responsibly teamwork on codifying campaign management and overall marketing processes.
Core Competencies:
Background in holistic marketing across multiple brands at large companies; B2B, Local and Direct Marketing experience a plus, but not a requirement
Experience managing multi-faceted go-to-market campaign processes requiring strong organizational skills, detail-focused strategic oversight, rigorous risk mitigation, and executive-level reporting
Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with an ability to create structure and process, building something from nothing
Able to work autonomously and to take initiative, managing multiple large-scale projects at a time
Executive presence to inspire confidence with internal and external constituents
Collaborative and willing to roll up your sleeves with the team and get close to the details
React quickly with strategic thinking and proactive solutioning in a fast-paced environment
Strong communicator; verbal and written
Highly organized and accountable
Operational by nature, but through a strategic lens
Patient and persistent
Working knowledge of Adobe Workfront or similar workflow management tool
Expert in Microsoft Office
Preferred
MBA or Master’s degree
Experience with Bynder or other Digital Asset Management tools
Creative or Media Agency experience
