Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic friendly and organized Front Desk /Back-office Medical Certified Assistant to be the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will at times manage front desk operations, serving as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and Back Office Medical Assistant duties. Your positive attitude, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently will help create a professional and friendly environment for clients, staff, and patients alike.

Duties

• Greet visitors warmly, making and canceling appointments, and direct them appropriately
• Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, providing excellent customer service
• Maintain organized filing systems, data entry records, and ensure all documents are proofread for accuracy
• Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, closing end of day daily transactions
• Assist with clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and managing office supplies
• Utilize computer skills across Google and have basic computers skills.
• Rooming patients, turning rooms, cleaning instruments
• Electronic charting, assisting doctor with exams, cosmetic and laser procedures, surgeries, MOHS, and prescriptions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in medical office administration or reception roles with strong clerical skills
• Knowledge of EMA Practice Management a strong plus, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications. Salary commensurate with experience.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette is essential
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a medical assistant for back/front office.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance
• Ability to handle confidential information (HIPAA) discreetly while maintaining a high level of professionalism
• Medical assistant certificate required
