Channel Sales Manager Jobs in Washington: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a channel sales manager in Washington?
Channel sales manager roles in Washington do not require a state-issued license, but employers consistently expect a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a technology-related field paired with several years of channel or partner sales experience. Washington's dense concentration of technology companies means candidates who demonstrate hands-on experience with partner ecosystems, reseller programs, or cloud go-to-market motions are hired ahead of those with only direct sales backgrounds. A Salesforce or partner management certification adds meaningful credibility.
How much do channel sales managers make in Washington?
Channel sales managers in Washington earn a median of about $174,000 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $104,000 for the lowest 10% to over $291,620 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire channel sales managers in Washington?
Employers hiring channel sales managers in Washington right now include Paychex, Atago, and DCG ONE, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Washington's role as home base for major global technology and cloud platforms means channel sales teams here tend to operate at a larger scale and manage more complex partner ecosystems than in most other states.
Which Washington cities have the most channel sales manager jobs?
Seattle, Kent, and Tacoma account for the largest share of channel sales manager openings in Washington. Seattle and Bellevue drive the majority of demand because of the concentration of technology company headquarters and regional offices there, while Redmond's position as Microsoft's global campus sustains a particularly high and steady volume of partner and channel sales roles independent of broader hiring cycles.
Are there remote channel sales manager jobs in Washington?
Yes, and more than most fields. Channel sales management is desk and relationship-driven work that translates well to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 17% of channel sales manager openings tied to Washington are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how common distributed partner teams have become across the state's technology sector. Partner recruitment, co-sell coordination, and pipeline reviews are the functions most frequently conducted fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a channel sales manager in Washington with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a direct sales, inside sales, or sales development role at one of Washington's technology companies, then stepping into a channel or partner programs coordinator position before advancing to manager. Large Washington employers in cloud and enterprise software regularly hire associate partner managers or channel program specialists who can grow into the role. Building familiarity with partner portal platforms and earning a recognized sales or cloud certification significantly strengthens early-career applications in this market.
Where can I find and apply to channel sales manager jobs in Washington?
You can find and apply to channel sales manager jobs in Washington on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your background and target location, and apply directly to the positions that fit.
