Chef Concierge Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a chef concierge in Florida?
The most direct path is several years of progressive guest services experience at a full-service Florida hotel or resort, combined with active pursuit of Les Clefs d'Or membership through the Florida chapter of the National Concierge Association. Florida has no state-issued license for this role, but Les Clefs d'Or candidacy is the recognized professional credential. A hospitality management degree from a Florida institution such as Florida International University or UCF strengthens candidacy considerably.
Which companies hire chef concierges in Florida?
Companies currently hiring chef concierges in Florida include Marriott International, FirstService Residential, and CosmoProf, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's luxury resort corridor from Miami Beach to Palm Beach and the major Orlando convention properties generate the most consistent demand for this role.
Which Florida cities have the most chef concierge jobs?
Miami, Boca Raton, and Fort Lauderdale account for the greatest concentration of chef concierge openings in Florida. Miami and Miami Beach lead because of the density of luxury hotels, private clubs, and international clientele, while Orlando's massive convention and theme-park resort infrastructure drives sustained demand, and Palm Beach's enclave of Forbes five-star properties sustains a smaller but highly competitive market.
Are there remote chef concierge jobs in Florida?
Yes, but they're rare. The chef concierge role is fundamentally on-site, built around face-to-face guest interaction and real-time coordination with local vendors and property teams. About 8% of chef concierge openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and those positions typically involve virtual concierge or pre-arrival planning functions rather than full floor duties.
How can I get hired as a chef concierge in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is a front desk agent or guest services associate role at a full-service Florida property, where you build local knowledge and vendor relationships before moving into a concierge position. Large Florida operators like Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt run internal development programs that move associates from front office into concierge tracks. Pursuing Les Clefs d'Or candidacy early and cultivating detailed knowledge of Miami, Orlando, or Palm Beach attractions gives candidates a clear edge.
Where can I find and apply to chef concierge jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to chef concierge jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings updated regularly. Find roles that fit your experience and location and apply directly to the employers posting them.
