We're recruiting for a Clinical Director on behalf of a private ABA provider here in Arizona. This is a full-time, permanent position with the client, not a contract and we're happy to share more once we talk.
The team serves kids with autism and other developmental disabilities, mostly in schools and homes. They need a BCBA who can run the clinical side: assessments, behavior plans, staff supervision, and keeping everyone on the same page with families and school teams.
What the job looks like day to day:
- Handling intakes and ongoing assessments for new and current clients
- Doing FBAs and writing BIPs, then actually using the data to adjust them
- Supervising RBTs and BCBA candidates, including fidelity checks
- Keeping documentation clean and compliant (HIPAA, and FERPA for school-based work)
- Working with parents, teachers, and IEP teams so the plan is followed the same way at home and at school
- Reviewing outcomes and reporting up to leadership
What you need:
- Active BCBA certification
- Arizona LBA license, or eligible to get it before you start
- BACB 8-hour supervision training completed
- Experience supervising RBTs or other techs
- Experience working with kids with autism or developmental disabilities
- Able to pass a background check. An AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required for school-based work.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice to have:
- Time in a school setting, especially doing FBAs/BIPs as part of the IEP process
- Home-based ABA experience
- Any prior clinical leadership or program management
