This is an hourly position, Monday through Friday 4:30pm-10:00pm.
Responsible for supervising and evaluating Practical Nursing students during evening clinical experiences. Provides instruction and guidance in the clinical setting, ensures safe and effective patient care practices, and supports students in applying classroom knowledge to clinical practice. Maintains communication with the program director, program faculty and clinical partners regarding student progress and performance. Attends faculty meetings, curriculum meetings, technical advisory committee meetings, and other meetings as required.
- Current NYS RN License
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years current clinical experience as a Registered Nurse: Long term and Acute Care
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19
- Proficient in PowerPoint and MS Word.
- Must have a completed Physical, vaccinations, BLS certification, Child abuse training, Infection Control Certificate, etc.
- Complete all requirements as required by the Clinical Sites.
