Clinical Supervisor – Residential Treatment Programs

Are you ready to lead with purpose and elevate the quality of care for women in recovery? As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a vital leadership role in shaping clinical services, guiding staff, and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care in a residential treatment setting.
In this position, you will do more than oversee services—you will mentor clinicians, strengthen program integrity, and help create a structured, trauma-informed environment where women can heal and thrive.

What You Will Do
These responsibilities focus on clinical leadership, staff supervision, program development, and regulatory compliance.
Clinical Leadership & Oversight
- Oversee all clinical aspects of the residential treatment programs
- Provide clinical supervision and documentation review for treatment staff
- Offer consultation to staff and Program Manager on client treatment challenges
- Facilitate and oversee client staffing processes
- Ensure compliance with DHS 75 and DHS 83 requirements
- Collaborate with the Medical Director as appropriate
- Meet with clients as needed to support care and oversight
Staff Supervision & Program Administration
- Supervise clinical staff in partnership with the Program Manager
- Support hiring, onboarding, and retention of program staff
- Design and oversee training for new SUD Counselors
- Provide clinical supervision for staff seeking licensure or certification
- Coordinate and support the internship program
- Maintain oversight of client charts and documentation standards
Program Development
- Stay current on evidence-based practices for substance use disorder treatment
- Promote gender-responsive and trauma-informed care approaches
- Provide input on program structure and service delivery
- Recommend and implement evidence-based group curricula
- Improve and guide treatment planning systems and processes
Program Evaluation & Compliance
- Design and implement program evaluation processes with leadership
- Monitor and review outcomes data to guide program improvements
- Ensure compliance with contracts, grants, and regulatory requirements
- Support data collection for DQA and grant reporting
- Ensure regular clinical team meetings and case reviews occur
- Recommend program enhancements to senior leadership
What You Will Bring (Qualifications)
These qualifications reflect the clinical expertise, leadership ability, and experience required for this role.
Education & Licensure
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related human services field
- Active Wisconsin clinical license (LCSW or LPC preferred)
Experience
- Minimum of five years of clinical experience in the field
- At least three years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment
Expertise & Leadership Skills
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based SUD treatment practices
- Experience implementing gender-responsive programming
- Ability to lead teams, provide mentorship, and foster professional growth
- Strong organizational, documentation, and compliance skills
