Communications Specialists responsibility will be to handle public relations, information output, press releases, media requests, social media and/or advertising efforts for the Colleton Athletic Department. They will arrange and coordinate press conferences, and plan events. The individual is expected to be a strategic thinker with a meticulous attention to detail, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines. The individual should have working knowledge of various social media platforms in a professional and socially conscious manner. The individual should have knowledge of Colleton County and an understanding of how information is presented to the community effectively to reach as many people as possible.
