This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, completing general building repairs, and helping ensure facilities operate safely and efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems, including rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, boilers, and related equipment.
- Diagnose HVAC issues and complete necessary repairs to maintain reliable system operation.
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs, including doors, hardware, fixtures, and other facility components.
- Complete basic electrical repairs, troubleshoot electrical issues, and replace components such as switches, outlets, lighting, and ballasts, within applicable qualifications and authorization.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs, including addressing leaks, clearing minor drain issues, and repairing or replacing faucets, valves, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Inspect building systems and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend corrective action.
- Respond to maintenance requests and service calls in a timely manner.
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks, work orders, and service documentation using the appropriate maintenance system.
- Travel between assigned client facilities to perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures, building codes, and company policies.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and facility management teams as needed.
