Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Sales Consultant Jobs at JPMorganChase Jobs
Frame your credentials around financial sales
JPMorganChase's Sales Consultant roles often sit within regulated business lines like wealth management or commercial banking. Certifications like the Series 7 or Series 63 signal readiness for licensed sales roles and strengthen your visa petition's specialty occupation case.
Target business lines that file LCAs
Not all JPMorganChase divisions hire Sales Consultants with the same sponsorship appetite. Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data by employer name and job title to identify which business units have filed Labor Condition Applications for Sales Consultant roles recently.
Ask about E-3 eligibility before accepting an offer
Australian citizens applying for Sales Consultant roles at JPMorganChase can request E-3 sponsorship instead of H-1B. The E-3 has no lottery and can be filed multiple times a year, making it a more predictable path if your role qualifies as a specialty occupation.
Clarify who files your petition before signing
JPMorganChase uses internal immigration teams and outside counsel for visa filings. During the offer stage, confirm whether the firm files I-129 petitions in-house or through a law firm, and get a clear timeline for when USCIS will receive your petition after your start date.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Sales Consultant roles
Identifying which JPMorganChase Sales Consultant postings are open to visa sponsorship isn't always obvious from job boards. Migrate Mate filters specifically for sponsoring employers, so you can focus applications on roles where sponsorship is already part of the hiring equation.

Find Sales Consultant at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Consultants?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Sales Consultant roles, particularly within business lines like wealth management, commercial banking, and financial advisory services. The firm has internal immigration counsel that manages the petition process. Your role must qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, which typically requires a bachelor's degree in a directly related field.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly use for Sales Consultant roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors several visa categories for Sales Consultants. The H-1B is the most common for degree-holding professionals. Australian citizens can pursue E-3 sponsorship, which avoids the lottery entirely. For roles leading to permanent residence, JPMorganChase also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through the PERM labor certification process for eligible employees.
What qualifications and experience does JPMorganChase expect for Sales Consultant roles?
Most Sales Consultant positions at JPMorganChase require a bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field. Roles within licensed divisions typically expect FINRA credentials such as the Series 7 or Series 63. Prior client-facing experience in financial services, demonstrated sales performance, and familiarity with regulated products are factors that strengthen both your application and your visa petition's specialty occupation argument.
How do I apply for Sales Consultant jobs at JPMorganChase?
You can search and apply through JPMorganChase's careers site directly, or use Migrate Mate to filter for Sales Consultant openings at JPMorganChase that include visa sponsorship. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific business line and highlight any relevant financial services experience. If you're on a time-sensitive visa like OPT, note your authorization end date early in the process to give the hiring team enough lead time.
How do I understand the timeline for H-1B sponsorship at JPMorganChase?
If you're starting on OPT, JPMorganChase would need to register you for the H-1B lottery in March for an October 1 start. USCIS typically issues lottery results within weeks of registration closing. After selection, the I-129 petition window opens April 1. Premium processing, available for an additional USCIS fee, reduces adjudication to 15 business days and is worth requesting if your OPT expires close to October 1.
