Align your credentials to Snowflake's business model
Snowflake hires Business Managers to drive cross-functional initiatives across cloud sales, partnerships, and product operations. Frame your resume around revenue impact, strategic planning, and cross-team coordination in a SaaS or cloud environment rather than general business administration.
Target roles tied to specific sales segments
Snowflake organizes its go-to-market teams by vertical and customer segment. Applying to Business Manager openings that align with your prior industry experience, such as financial services or technology, significantly improves your fit signal during initial screening.
Confirm LCA posting before your interview stage
Before you receive an offer, confirm that Snowflake has filed a Labor Condition Application with the DOL for your target role and location. This is a required step before any H-1B petition can proceed and signals how far along the company is in the sponsorship process.
Clarify cap-subject versus cap-exempt petition timing
If you are transitioning off OPT or a J-1 exchange program, ask Snowflake's recruiting team early whether they plan to file in the next H-1B registration window. Missing the annual USCIS registration period in March means waiting another full year.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Business Manager openings by visa type
Searching broadly wastes time when you need confirmed sponsorship. Migrate Mate lets you filter Snowflake's open Business Manager positions by the specific visa categories they support, so you only spend time on roles that match your authorization situation.
Prepare for PERM early if you are targeting a Green Card
Snowflake sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards through the PERM labor certification process, which requires DOL to verify that no qualified U.S. workers are available. This process can take a year or more before an I-140 petition is even filed, so raise the timeline with your immigration contact at Snowflake after you have an offer in hand.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Snowflake sponsor H-1B visas for Business Managers?
Yes, Snowflake sponsors H-1B visas for Business Manager roles. Business Manager positions at Snowflake generally qualify as specialty occupations because they require a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as business, finance, or a related discipline. Sponsorship typically covers both the initial cap-subject petition and subsequent renewals, and Snowflake has a consistent record of supporting work authorization across its business functions.
How do I apply for Business Manager jobs at Snowflake?
You can browse and apply for Business Manager roles through Snowflake's careers portal. For the fastest path to confirmed sponsorship openings, Migrate Mate filters Snowflake's listings by visa type so you can identify roles that match your specific work authorization needs before applying. Tailoring your application to Snowflake's cloud data platform and go-to-market structure increases your chances of moving to the interview stage.
Which visa types does Snowflake commonly use for Business Manager roles?
Snowflake sponsors several visa categories for Business Manager positions, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN visa (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), and J-1 visa exchange visitors. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, Snowflake also files EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions through the PERM labor certification process administered by the DOL. The right visa type depends on your nationality, degree, and current immigration status.
What qualifications does Snowflake expect for Business Manager roles?
Snowflake's Business Manager roles typically require a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience driving strategic initiatives in a SaaS or cloud technology environment. Familiarity with enterprise sales motions, cross-functional program management, and data-driven decision-making is commonly expected. Roles tied to specific verticals may also require relevant industry experience, such as financial services or retail.
How do I plan the H-1B process timeline when targeting a Business Manager role at Snowflake?
The H-1B registration window opens in March each year, with USCIS conducting a lottery if registrations exceed the 85,000 annual cap. If selected, Snowflake can file your petition starting April 1 for an October 1 start date. If you are on F-1 OPT when you apply, confirm your OPT expiration date relative to that timeline. If your OPT ends before October 1, you may need to request a cap-gap extension to maintain work authorization while your petition is pending.
