Verify Your NCLEX and License Before Applying
Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic expects active RN licensure in Washington State before sponsorship can move forward. Get your credentials evaluated through CGFNS and pass the NCLEX early so licensing delays don't stall an otherwise strong application.
Target Community Health Experience in Your Resume
The clinic serves migrant farmworkers and low-income rural communities. Highlight any federally qualified health center, rural clinic, or underserved population experience on your resume. Generalist hospital background alone is less compelling here than community-focused nursing work.
Understand That EB-3 Is the Most Common Path
For internationally trained RNs, the EB-3 immigrant visa route through PERM labor certification is the standard pathway at employer-sponsored healthcare clinics like this one. Factor in DOL PERM processing timelines, which can run 12 to 18 months before an I-140 petition is even filed.
Ask Recruiters About TN Eligibility During Outreach
If you hold Canadian citizenship, TN status is a faster entry point than waiting on PERM. The clinic has sponsored TN visas for nursing roles. Raise this in early recruiter conversations so the team can route your application to the right HR contact.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Open RN Roles by Visa Type
Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic posts RN openings across multiple clinics and service areas. Use Migrate Mate to filter current Registered Nurse listings by the visa sponsorship types the clinic supports, so you're applying to roles where sponsorship is confirmed rather than assumed.
Prepare for a Longer Offer-to-Start Timeline
Immigrant visa sponsorship through PERM and EB-3 takes considerably longer than domestic hiring. When negotiating your offer, clarify whether the clinic will file for concurrent I-140 and adjustment of status if you're already in the U.S., which can shorten your wait compared to consular processing abroad.

Find Registered Nurse at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic sponsor H-1B visas for Registered Nurses?
Registered Nurse roles at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic are not typically sponsored through H-1B because nursing does not consistently meet the specialty occupation standard USCIS requires. The clinic's primary sponsorship pathways for nurses are EB-2, EB-3, and TN. If you hold Canadian citizenship, TN is often the most practical near-term option.
How do I apply for Registered Nurse jobs at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic?
Applications go through the clinic's careers portal on their official website, where you can browse openings by location and department. You can also find and filter current Registered Nurse listings at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic by visa sponsorship type on Migrate Mate. Submit a resume that reflects community health experience and include your active or pending Washington State RN license.
Which visa types does Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic commonly use for Registered Nurse sponsorship?
The clinic sponsors Registered Nurses through EB-3 immigrant visas via PERM labor certification, EB-2 in qualifying cases, F-1 OPT for nursing graduates completing their practical training period, F-1 CPT in limited circumstances, and TN visas for Canadian citizens. EB-3 is the most common long-term pathway for internationally trained nurses seeking permanent residence through this employer.
What qualifications does Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic expect for Registered Nurse roles?
You'll need active RN licensure in Washington State, which means passing the NCLEX and completing any required credential evaluation through CGFNS or a similar body. The clinic works heavily in federally qualified health center settings serving rural and migrant populations, so experience in community health, primary care, or public health nursing strengthens your candidacy alongside standard clinical qualifications.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for Registered Nurses at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic?
For EB-3 sponsorship, expect DOL PERM labor certification to take 12 to 18 months, followed by I-140 petition processing with USCIS and then adjustment of status or consular processing depending on your current immigration status. TN sponsorship for Canadian citizens moves much faster, sometimes within weeks. F-1 OPT authorization through your school typically processes within 90 days of application.
