Warby Parker was founded with a mission: to inspire and impact the world with vision, purpose, and style.
We're constantly asking ourselves how we can do more and make a greater impact, and that starts by reimagining everything that a company and industry can be. We want to demonstrate that a business can scale while doing good in the world, without charging a premium for it. And we’ve learned that it takes creativity, empathy, and innovation to achieve that goal.
Since the day we launched in 2010, we’ve pioneered ideas, designed products, and developed technologies that help people see. We offer everything you need for happier eyes at a price that leaves you with money in your pocket, from designer-quality glasses and contacts to eye exams and vision tests, and you can meet us online, at our stores, or even in your home. Wherever and whenever you need it, we’re there to make exceptional vision care simple and accessible. (Delightful, too.)
Ultimately, we believe in vision for all, which is why for every pair of glasses or sunglasses we sell, a pair of glasses is distributed to someone in need through our Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program.

Customer Sales Advisor Jobs in California: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a customer sales advisor in California?
Most California employers require a high school diploma and will train you on their products, but roles in insurance sales require a California Department of Insurance license before you can advise clients or earn commission on policies. To get licensed, you complete state-approved pre-licensing education, pass the California insurance producer exam, and register with the CDI. For non-insurance roles in retail or telecom, completing an employer onboarding program is usually the primary requirement.
How much do customer sales advisors make in California?
Customer sales advisors in California earn a median of about $38,440 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $35,240 for the lowest 10% to over $54,310 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire customer sales advisors in California?
Employers hiring customer sales advisors in California right now include Bank of America, JPMorganChase, and CHANEL, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. California's concentration of large bank branches, regional insurance carriers, and major wireless carriers means consistent year-round hiring across the state.
Which California cities have the most customer sales advisor jobs?
Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Jose have the most customer sales advisor openings in California. Los Angeles drives volume through its dense mix of retail banking branches, insurance offices, and telecom service centers, while San Francisco and San Diego add significant hiring from financial services firms and healthcare organizations with large customer operations in those metros.
Are there remote customer sales advisor jobs in California?
Yes, and they're more available than in many sales fields, since a meaningful share of customer advising happens by phone and digital channels. About 2% of customer sales advisor openings tied to California are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how widely insurers, banks, and telecom companies have shifted inbound advising to distributed teams. Roles focused on phone-based insurance quoting and online banking support tend to be the most consistently remote.
How can I get hired as a customer sales advisor in California with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying to retail banking associate or customer service representative roles at California's large branch networks, where internal promotion to a sales advisor title is structured and common. Wells Fargo and Bank of America both run California-based new-hire programs that move tellers and service reps into advisor roles. For insurance, completing a California CDI pre-licensing course before applying signals seriousness and removes a hiring barrier. Lateral entry from customer service, retail cashiering, or call-center work at California employers is widely accepted.
Where can I find and apply to customer sales advisor jobs in California?
You can find and apply to customer sales advisor jobs in California on Migrate Mate, which lists current California openings updated regularly. Search the available roles, find the ones that match your background and preferred location, and apply directly to each listing without needing to create a profile or sign up first.
