About Sprig
Sprig is the customer survey platform, rebuilt around AI agents. For two decades, teams have relied on Qualtrics, Medallia, and SurveyMonkey to understand their customers. These platforms were built for a slower era, with manual setup, fragmented workflows, and insights that arrive too late to shape decisions. The gap between how fast products move and how fast research can keep up has never been wider. We're building something different. With Sprig, AI agents design studies, adapt surveys in real time, and turn responses into clear, actionable insight. Teams move from question to evidence in hours instead of weeks, without sacrificing rigor. Product teams no longer guess. They know. Our mission is to make deep customer understanding effortless and always on, so the best teams in the world can build products their customers love. Companies like Microsoft, DoorDash, Notion, Figma, Coinbase, and TripAdvisor use Sprig to stay close to their users. Backed by $85M from Andreessen Horowitz, Accel, and First Round Capital, we're growing quickly across the world's leading product organizations. The category is being rebuilt, with AI at the core. If you're excited by hard problems and the chance to define how modern teams understand their customers, we'd love to meet you.

Customer Success Director Jobs in California: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a customer success director in California?
The customer success director role in California has no state-issued license or exam, so the path runs through experience and demonstrated outcomes. Most California employers expect candidates to have progressed from customer success manager to senior manager or team lead before stepping into a director role. Strong candidates show a history of owning retention and expansion targets. A bachelor's degree is the standard baseline, and certifications from recognized customer success organizations can strengthen a profile.
Which companies hire customer success directors in California?
Employers hiring customer success directors in California right now include Intuit, ServiceTitan, and Cox Communications, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. California's density of enterprise SaaS and cloud infrastructure companies means director-level customer success roles are posted year-round, particularly by firms headquartered in the Bay Area and greater Los Angeles.
Which California cities have the most customer success director jobs?
The California cities with the most customer success director openings are San Francisco, Los Angeles, and California. San Francisco leads because of its concentration of enterprise SaaS and cloud company headquarters, Los Angeles draws hiring from media technology and e-commerce platforms, and San Diego contributes through its growing biotech software and cybersecurity sectors, each of which relies heavily on dedicated customer success leadership.
Are there remote customer success director jobs in California?
Yes, and more than most fields. Customer success director work is primarily relationship-driven and platform-based, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 61% of customer success director openings tied to California are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how broadly California tech employers have adopted flexible work policies at the director level. Strategic account reviews and executive business reviews are the parts of the role most likely to require occasional in-person presence.
How can I get hired as a customer success director in California with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a customer success manager role first, then building toward director responsibilities from within. Large California SaaS employers such as Salesforce and Adobe run structured associate and rotational programs for candidates transitioning from account management, sales operations, or technical support. Lateral moves from implementation consulting or professional services are common and recognized. Earning a customer success certification and building a portfolio of measurable retention outcomes gives candidates without a long title history a credible foundation when applying to California employers.
Where can I find and apply to customer success director jobs in California?
You can find and apply to customer success director jobs in California on Migrate Mate, which lists current California openings updated in real time. Search the listings by location or specialty, find roles that fit your experience level and target industry, and apply directly to the ones that match.
